Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Program Unit
ANR faculty and staff work at County Extension Offices and Research & Extension Centers across Washington. We actively engage with agricultural and natural resource stakeholders and industries, as well as the general public, to extend research-based information and conduct locally relevant applied research in the fields of agriculture and natural resource sciences. We provide a critical link between the research of WSU and the application of knowledge and technology by our state’s farmers, ranchers, resource managers, and related industries. Our faculty and staff lead and coordinate numerous conferences, workshops, field days and other events for stakeholders each year. We also develop peer-reviewed publications and educational products to further disseminate relevant information to our clientele—the residents of Washington state. Additionally, our faculty presents findings at national and international venues, demonstrating WSU leadership across multiple disciplines of agriculture and natural resource sciences. Read More
